Pickup from your hotel and day hike to Baghdwar

Pickup from Hotel: We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu early in the morning to make the most of the day.

Drive to Shivapuri National Park Entrance (Budhanilkantha): After a 30-45 minute drive, we arrive at the entrance of Shivapuri National Park in Budhanilkantha. Here, we’ll complete the necessary formalities for entry.

Start of the Hike: Begin the hike with a gradual uphill walk through the dense, green forests of Shivapuri. The early morning light filters through the trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

Arrival at Baghdwar: We reach Baghdwar, the sacred source of the Bagmati River. Here, you’ll see ancient stone spouts carved in the shape of tiger heads, marking the spring where the river emerges. The site is surrounded by prayer flags and small shrines, adding to the peaceful ambiance.

Break and Snacks: We’ll rest and enjoy light snacks brought along for the hike. This is also a perfect time to take photos and explore the area, soaking in the views and natural beauty.

Descent Begins: Begin the descent along the same path, enjoying the views of the valley and landscapes as we head back down.

Arrive at Budhanilkantha and Drive Back to your hotel:  We’ll drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu, concluding the day’s adventure.
