Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is a breathtaking 14-day journey through the heart of the Annapurna region. The trek offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, lush rhododendron forests, charming Gurung villages, and a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture. The trek begins in Kathmandu, where travelers can explore historical landmarks before heading to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city. With moderate difficulty, this trek is ideal for those with a basic level of fitness. Accommodations range from budget tea houses to luxurious lodges, with meal options catering to all preferences. The trek is best undertaken in the spring (March-May) or autumn (September-November) seasons for clear skies and pleasant temperatures.
